Porfiriato (1860 . 1910)

The clergy: The church was the economic force of the country. The clergy
decided the ways the government should act, their duty was to give keep the
faith of their congregation.
2. The landowners: This was a
group of people living on the best economic situation.They
had companies or territories where the poor people worked, although they were
rich their actions were limited by the clergy.

The middle class was integrated by bureaucrats, lawyers and proprietors of
little business, so they didn´t have many obligations as citizens, they just
dedicated to work.
4. The majority class: As the name refers,
this was the predominant class, it was integrated by the poor people, the
farmers and workers. They fought to hardly survive with the money they could earn every
day, even that the government abused of their economic situation making them to
pay high taxes.

Women had no voice at home, much less on social issues, so it was very
difficult for them to gain in social classes.

The higher classes owned factories, farms, houses and commercial financial
business.
7.
The main representatives of the higher classes were scientists, and a group of
friends close to the dictator.
8. Porfirio Díaz, a Mexican soldier, was the
president of Mexico for 31 years.
9.
The president designate all public officers, members of the Legislative,
Judicial and the rulers of the states.
10. The "Porfirian peace" consisted
on the peace that the state guaranteed through repression of any worker
manifestation.
